Description

This is one of the projects I did as an in-house designer in JUST Capital. The index concept page is built to give a performance overview for potential clients.

Approach

As part of my role at JUST Capital, I designed the Index Concept Page, aimed at providing a comprehensive performance overview for potential clients. This project falls under a series of initiatives I have worked on since July 2021, including:

Objective

The Index Concept Page was crafted to help the target audience navigate complex corporate performance data and proprietary ranking analysis. It highlights market performance and the impact of various ESG-related themes, organized into six distinct categories.

Role & Collaboration

My role involved synthesizing three different data visualizations into a cohesive user experience. This project necessitated extensive collaboration with cross-functional teams, including research, engineering, marketing, and investment, to ensure alignment with stakeholder needs.

Challenges & Solutions

One significant challenge was presenting dense information in an easily digestible format. Initially, the design compared stakeholders directly, but through the design process, I shifted the concept to a non-comparative overview for enhanced clarity.

  • Landing Page: Designed three grid-based landing page options, each straightforward and user-friendly, focusing on category navigation.

  • Detail Page: Developed a detail page featuring a performance table, year-on-year graph, sector analysis, and impact graph, accompanied by concise category descriptions.

Mid-Fidelity

Images have been incorporated in accordance with the branding guidelines, while interactive semi-prototypes have been developed for internal stakeholders through the addition of hooks, footers, and UI components.

In the detailed pages, an extensive list of stakeholders was provided. One proposed solution involved implementing a dropdown menu in Design 1, while Design 2 sought to foster user interaction and provide visual cues through imagery, employing a tab design for the stakeholders' call-to-action (CTA).

High-Fidelity

I presented three enhanced solutions for accommodating lengthy stakeholder names, while upholding the tab design and exploring diverse layouts suitable for informative content.

Incorporated subtle UI elements to ensure the provision of clear visual cues, thereby facilitating seamless navigation for users across different categories.
